I was at the interactive whiteboard training last night at Archdeacon and it was FAB! Ali our trainer was really helpful and informative and the session was a mixture of explanations and demos of the main functions, and then of course plenty of time to have a go. Josie Brown and I were squealing like the girlies we are, about all the bright colours and making text whizz around etc - we are very easily impressed, but seriously it was really good. I can see that we will be using these skills in our teaching especailly with the new PTlls and CTlls courses in the New Year. Bye bye flipchart, R.I.P.!

Wendy - thanks for your feedback and we look forward to you letting us know how you and Josie get out with all these exciting features in your teaching.

Rob - it was indeed a twilight session. However, Julie has asked me to organise an "in house" session when we get our own SmartBoard in the training room. This is likely to be when we move to new premises now. In the meantime if you think a copy of the notes from the session would be helpful let me know as I have a spare copy.
