I am linking to this picture as I think it is of the textile Sara and Lizzie have been talking about in previous posts. The thing I really like about our blog is its visual appeal and many of our posts have images with them which add interest. It's really simple to link to images from Flickr. You simply go to the image and click on the blog icon above it. You write your blog post in Flickr and it automatically uses the title of the image and attributes it to the person who uploaded it.

Aha.....this looks really exciting. Thanks for posting it Jane.
Thank you very much for your comments. The hanging is completed now. It will be at Joys Green Community Centre - we need to carefully drill holes in the crumbling wall to put some hooks in. I'll post some photos when it's hanging.
I'm looking forward to using the AdEd "dongle" (is that right?!) to be able to show these learners the comments on the Flickr site and in this blogg.
The hanging will go to an exhibition at Cinderford Artspace this autumn, an exhibition celebrating the centre's 21st year celebration .
At Artspace we regularly have "Home Grown" exhibitions - 100s of learners' work is exhibited - it's an excellent way to record achievement, and so rewarding for people who never thought they'd have their art work exhibited.
I love working in village halls, right in the heart of the community. Users of Joys Green Community Centre will have a fantastic textile to enjoy. I have been in Littledean today and you never know what will happen next. We had an Archdeacon call in and have a go at needlefelting.
